José Pariente Verdejo named “Best Young White Wine” by the readers of the Guía Gourmets
José Pariente Verdejo adds a new accolade to its long-standing track record.
The wine from Bodegas José Pariente has been named “Best Young White Wine 2026” by the readers of the Guía Vinos Gourmets, one of Spain’s leading references in gastronomy and wine.
The award is particularly meaningful as it was the Guide’s own readers who, through their votes, placed José Pariente Verdejo at the top of its category. A recognition that connects directly with those who enjoy wine and provides further encouragement to continue championing an approach to Verdejo rooted in personality, terroir and versatility.
“Receiving this award from the readers of the Guía Gourmets is especially meaningful to us because it recognises the quality, value and timeless character of a wine that has been part of our story since the very beginning. An award chosen by readers
The Guía Vinos Gourmets Awards have established themselves as one of the sector’s leading recognitions. In this edition, the Guide’s readers and users were invited to submit their ratings and opinions through the forms published on the Grupo Gourmets website.
The awards are presented to the wines and professionals receiving the highest number of votes in each category, excluding those who have received an award in the same category during the previous five years.
The award for José Pariente Verdejo will be presented during the 40th Salón Gourmets, taking place from 26 to 29 April 2027 at IFEMA Madrid.
With this latest accolade, José Pariente Verdejo continues to build a track record founded on the trust of both wine professionals and consumers.
