At José Pariente, we firmly believe that we are defined not only by our business activity, but by the way we relate to the people around us.
This year, we experienced something that moved us deeply alongside the Asociación El Puente, a pre-employment mental health workshop in Rueda that supports individuals in their personal, social, and professional development. More than a collaboration, it has been a shared learning experience.
Our contribution made it possible for the group to travel to Madrid to attend the musical The Lion King. It may seem like just a trip — but it was far more than that.
For many of the workshop participants, experiences like this are not part of everyday life. The necessary resources to travel, attend a large-scale show, or simply spend a different kind of day outside their usual environment are not always available. Knowing that they were able to live that day — the journey together, the city lights, the quiet anticipation before the curtain rose — fills us with deep gratitude.
It was a special day. There were nerves, laughter, surprise, and emotion. Simple moments that, nonetheless, leave a lasting mark.
May this Christmas gather us around whats truly matters.
Our collaboration continued in an equally meaningful way. This year, the Christmas cards we sent to our clients and partners were created by the members of the workshop. Each card was made with dedication, time, and creativity, highlighting the value of origin and of work crafted by hand and with heart — just like our wines.
When we held them in our hands, we understood they were not simply cards. They represented hours of focus, teamwork, shared effort, and pride in a job well done. They were also an opportunity to give visibility to talent, commitment, and capability.
For us, it was important that every client and partner received more than a holiday greeting. We wanted them to receive a story. A shared gesture. A small example of what can happen when we trust in people and believe in their potential.
Collaborating with Asociación El Puente has been, above all, an act of respect and coherence with who we are.
As a family winery deeply rooted in our territory, we believe in a genuine commitment to our community. We believe in supporting processes, standing alongside people, and helping create opportunities. But above all, we believe in the value and dignity of every individual.
This Christmas, we are left with a simple certainty: social responsibility is not built on grand speeches, but on small gestures that create authentic bonds.
And in the end, it is those bonds that truly matter.
